Absolutely fantastic! Great day out with the family.
As a family of 5, we decided this would be a better option than a full day reef tour as there is beach access, island activities and only a short boat ride from Cairns. The glass bottom boat tour allowed us to see lots of coral reef and plenty of sea life. Plenty of good food options on the island and excellent beaches for snorkelling and swimming.

Catamaran boat of 45 minutes was opportunity for staff to personally speak to us about our trip, give advice, etc. The lunch inclusion in Emeralds restaurant was convenient, tasty and had good portion size with one drink included. Green island didn’t disappoint. My children were first time snorkellers and we saw a huge diversity of exotic fish straight off the beach. Memorable experience we’ll never forget.

This trip is worth recommending.
It was a trip I took with my 35-month-old baby, and it was better than I expected. It was disappointing that there was a smell of bird poop, and there were more tourists than expected, so it lacked a sense of quiet rest. Nevertheless, we could experience the emerald sea without going to the Maldives, the whales we met while visiting the coral reefs on a glass bottom boat, the cool sea water, and playing in the sand. Considering that we could experience all of these things at Green Island, less than an hour away from Cairns, I think it is a worthwhile tour. The temperature this year is a little lower than last year, so it was a bit cold for the baby to play, but I still like the cool weather since I escaped the heat in South korea.
